The Merseyside JLD recognises the importance of creating a network of contacts between all junior solicitors, paralegals and legal executives of up to five years' qualified in Merseyside. This is essential to building your career in law and ultimately to cementing strong business contacts and routes for referrals for the future.

This underlying purpose translates into creative and fun social events organised in the swish bars around Liverpool City Centre, maximising the opportunities for junior lawyers all over Merseyside to meet up for food, drinks, fun and chatter. This culminates in an annual ball which is always a spectacular and very memorable event.
