Merseyside JLD Careers Forum
Is a career in law all it's cracked up to be? Should young lawyers consider retraining? What can trainees do to improve their chances of securing a newly qualified position?
The Merseyside JLD invites you to discuss all of the above and more in our Careers Forum on Wednesday 29 July 2009. The event has been organised in conjunction with Liverpool Law Society and will be attended by, amongst others, the President of Liverpool Law Society, graduate recruitment managers and careers advisors from local universities and LPC providers. Beth Wanono, the sole council member for trainees and LPC students on the Law Society Council, will also be in attendance to ensure your opinions and concerns are heard on a national level.
When? 5.30pm (6pm start), Wednesday 29 July 2009.
Where? Brabners Chaffe Street offices, Horton House, Exchange Flags.
Nibbles and refreshments will be provided.
If you would like to attend, please visit the Events page and complete the 'Events Sign Up' form on the left. If you would like any further information, please e-mail our education representative, Kate Moore, at kate.moore@halliwells.com.
