LPC student forum – 15 October – Northumbria University, Newcastle
This one day free LPC student forum is specifically aimed at LPC students. The purpose of the skills days is to assist them in their search for a training contract and to gain awareness of the issues facing LPC students.
The programme features:
- advice on CVs and making applications, and what firms are looking for
- how to stand out at interviews
- tips from current trainees on how to secure a training contract
- assessment centres
- pro bono volunteering
- working in a legal aid practice
Who should attend?
Anyone who is currently undertaking the LPC. However recent LPC graduates who are looking for a training contract will also benefit from attending the forum.
CV clinics
Individual 30 minute CV clinics will be held throughout the day for registered delegates with JLD advisers.
